I have 2 kids and their grandparents always want to see the latest pictures of them. I have tried to mail them a CD of the pictures for them to see, but they did not know what to do with it. Tried to teach them how to take that CD to their local photo print store, but still it was new and they did not know how the system works. They live on the opposite side of the states and I cannot help them.

My brother and I enjoy sharing different kinds of music with each other. We use to snail mail mix CDs with each other and it was work, and we needed something that was easier and faster.

To help solve how I can share music with my brother and photos with my parents easier, I found http://myfabrik.com/ .

I can backup all of my media files to myfabrik.com (all my music, photos, videos, and documents). I can easily organize the files into media types, create folders, and has a really easy bulk up-loader tool which keeps my existing file structure. All the files are private, until I share them by putting them on a “public site,” send an email share link, or by creating a “micro-link.”

They are currently in beta and I am sure they are continually improving the interface. Check it out.
